Games

RoadPark has three game resources:

Games row

Five booths along the central path. Walk up to a booth and press E — or use ox_target, which is picked up automatically when it runs — to open the game menu. A round ends without a result if the player walks more than 10 m away, dies, presses ESC or plays longer than three minutes. Admission is not refunded.
Where prize money comes from. Each booth pays money prizes out of the admission it has taken since the last restart. A booth that has not taken in enough yet skips the money prize. This keeps the games from printing money.

High Striker

  1. Charge: hammer Space as fast as you can for three seconds.
  2. Strike: click the left mouse button at the right moment.
The score goes up to 1,000 (power × accuracy). From 950 the bell rings and pays the bell prize ($200).

Can Toss

Hold the left mouse button to charge, release to throw. The right mouse button cancels the charge. Three balls per round. The score counts the share of cans knocked down plus a bonus for clearing the stack with fewer balls. Clearing every can with the first ball wins the jackpot ($100).

Basketball

45 seconds, one point per basket. Hold the left mouse button to charge and release to throw; the right mouse button cancels. Twelve baskets win the jackpot ($100).

Moving Hoop

Like Basketball, but the hoop moves from side to side and up to three players throw next to each other. Ten baskets win the jackpot ($100). Hold the right mouse button to aim steadily and click the left mouse button to fire. 45 seconds per round. Hits in a row raise a combo multiplier up to ×3. Popping all seven balloons wins the jackpot ($250). From 1,600 points the player also wins a plush duck (item teddy).

Settings

roadpark_games/config.lua
Each game has its own file in roadpark_games/config/ (cans.lua, range.lua, lukas.lua, hoops.lua, hoops2.lua) with keys, round length, physics and a Settings table for the jackpots: The Shooting Gallery item prize is R.Prize in config/range.lua. Set its item to '' if you do not want an item prize. The five park booths are listed in roadpark/devices.json. Change a booth’s "price" there; an optional "settings" object overrides the defaults above for that booth only.
Leaderboards are saved to roadpark_games/scores.json every 30 seconds and when the resource stops. Keep this file when you update.

Lucky Ducks

A duck pond with a flowing channel. Up to eight players fish at the same time with bamboo rods, and every duck they land wins a prize.

Playing

Every duck carries a marking that decides the prize: If the inventory is full, the prize waits at the booth for ten minutes — press E there to collect it. A waiting prize is lost when the player disconnects. A round ends after 75 seconds without action (with a warning at 60), when the player walks more than 3 m away or dies, or when all three ducks are caught. There is no refund once a round has started.

Settings

The chip price is set in the ticket resource under the ride ID ducks — see Tickets.

More booths

/ducks opens the placement editor. Turn with the mouse wheel, place with E, remove the nearest editor booth with X, close with Backspace. Placing and removing need roadpark.editor.

Claw Arcade

Themed claw machines in a row. Each theme has its own cabinet colours, topper figure and three plush variants.

Playing

The claw drops by itself after 15 seconds. Games bought in advance stay on that machine — also after a reconnect or a server restart. A won plush falls into the chute. Press E at the chute to take it. If the inventory is full, the prize waits; after two minutes it is added automatically, and if the inventory is still full, it is lost. A won plush is missing from the machine for five minutes before it is refilled.

Settings

Machine sounds need game build 2060 or newer.

More machines

/clawrow opens the row editor (/clawrow <theme> starts with a theme); /clawrow remove removes your nearest own row within 12 m. Both need roadpark.editor.
