Food & drinks

Four stands line the Food Lane. Players buy at the counter and hold the food in their hand — everybody nearby sees it. Pizza and gelato feed hunger and thirst on ESX, QBCore and Qbox; drinks add thirst on ESX. All four charge the first account that can pay — cash, then bank. Without a framework, everything is free.

RoadPark Pizza

A fairground pizza booth with two order points and two cooks. Press E at an order point and choose. The food is ready after ten seconds and is too hot to bite for the first six. Players can rebind these keys in the FiveM key bindings. No eating while driving.

RoadPark Gelato

A retro ice cream cart. Players pick one to three scoops from six flavours: vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, pistachio, stracciatella and lemon. The ice cream melts: after 20 seconds without licking, it shrinks by one size every 12 seconds. When the scoops are gone, the cone is eaten in three bites. Watch out — falling, fighting, jumping and sprinting can make the player drop it.

RoadPark Sweets

A gingerbread heart booth. Players write up to three lines in icing script, pick a size and an icing colour, pay and wear the heart around their neck. Everybody nearby sees the heart and its lettering. Icing colours: white, pink, red, blue, yellow and green. With an inventory that supports metadata (ox_inventory, qb-inventory, one_inventory, jaksam_inventory, tgiann-inventory and others) the heart is an item with its text stored on it. Using the item puts the heart on or takes it off; dropping or giving it away removes it from the neck. With the default ESX or QBCore inventory the player wears the heart right after paying and takes it off with /heart.
Open.CheckText in open/server.lua lets you refuse a text with your own moderation, and Open.OnInscribe is called after every purchase — for example to log lettering to a Discord webhook. See Integration.

RoadPark Drinks

A cold drinks kiosk. Press E at the counter, pick a drink, pay, and the player drinks it from a cup in four seconds. Dying, ragdolling or getting into a vehicle interrupts the drink. If the cup cannot be prepared, the payment is refunded.

Thirst is added through esx_status on ESX (Thirst = 150000). For QBCore and Qbox, or any other needs system, edit OpenClient.OnDrink in open/client.lua or listen to the client event roadpark_drinks:consumed. See Integration.

Placing more stands

The park places one of each stand in the Food Lane. More stands can be placed with the editors (ACE roadpark.editor): In the editor the mouse wheel turns, Enter or a left click saves and Backspace or a right click cancels. The drinks kiosk has no editor. Add extra kiosks to Config.Placements:
